Navigation Disks Please Advise
My "used" Aeroblue roadster came with the Eastern states navigation disk but not the western disk. I need the western, and what I've seen on ebay I am stuck having to buy both of them which is $149.00.
Is there anyone that wants to swap out the western disk for the eastern? I have no intention of driving East of the Mississippi.
Not that I condone this and certainly understand the copyright issues, but can these disks be copied? I (wink wink) would not think of doing this, but I was curious.
Chryslers price on the disk set is $350 or so. For that, I'll stick with Map quest!

Are they copyrighted, or have any sort of copy protection? I live in the west and have both East and West DVDs. Can dup them with my duping software. I never bothered to look at them that closely and since you essentially bought the car/nav system, you should have the set of disks that come with it anyway. Gimme a ring and maybe I can give it a try... The disk won't look purdy, but it will do the job I assume. Russ 408-569-4898. $149 is ridiculous, $350 is outrageous for a simple DVD set (assuming it is simple).
