I just wish the Crossfire would of finished better than it did.

 

It was neat to hear the drivers talk about what they were feeling or experiencing while driving... that was a great video... but I wonder what happened to the Crossfire??? I mean, it was in the lead at first and then nothing... or should I say nothing until the end when she came across the finish line with her tail between her legs...

Would love to see a rematch and be able listen to the guy in the Crossfire to hear what happened.

 

the crossfire driver's name is Shinichi Katsura but i could not find anything on him reviewing the car or the race.

 

video was really unfair. all the other cars had the performance oriented versions and the cf wasn't an srt-6...didn't make much sense, their was a damn slk55, so why not an srt-6.

 

Because it was probably all paid for by Mercedes, and it wouldn't look too good if the crossfire, came anywhere near the SLK AMG V8 would it.

All the cars were totally miss matched in my opinion.

 

It really seemed to me that the Crossfire driver was very timid. He took the curves very wide, allowing the other drivers to pass him. Let's pit HDDP against these guys and try again. Definitely a rigged race. I noticed that the Crossfire had the spoiler deployed throughout the race...a least from what I could see. Do you think it served as a drag on performance at those speeds. Surely it would help in the straight-aways... but they slowed down quite a bit on the curves...so maybe it contributed to the "understeering". These guys rarely got into normal deployment territory (160 KPH)...

 

It all seemed like a set-up from the start. The Crossfire driver never said anything of substance and they kept focusing on the Z and the AMG.
