Default A Story worth Telling!

Today, I headed to my favorite golf range that happens to also be a tennis facility. I elected to park near the indoor tennis courts and headed out to hit a bucket of *****. When I returned to my car, I noticed that the tennis facility was having some sort of promotion and several of the people organizing the event were standing near my car.

They asked, "Is that your car? At first, I thought I was parked in the wrong spot, so I answered, "yes", and asked if they wanted me to move it. They shouted, "NO!".

Turns out, the tennis promotion was for Prince rackets and they are giving away a free "Crossfire Roadster" as the grand prize. In fact, parked near mine was an "05 Coupe SRT". However, they were thrilled that my car happened to be right in front of them, as they had tried to find a roadster in the greater Seattle area, and there was none to be found. Turns out, they had to go out of state to get a new coupe! So, my roadster was the hit of the event. Most thought that my roadster was the grand prize, and boy, did a few of them have jealous looks when I drove off in my "baby".

I had spent the greater part of the day washing, polishing, and cleaning my car, so this was a perfect day to show "her" off. It was truly a coincidence that I happened to park where I did. They ended up taking a ton of pics for their promotion of my roadster with all sorts of flowers, posters, etc. It was a banner day for Crossfires! The SRT was priced at $36,900 brand new and gorgeous!

Good thing you've got the roadster...

Because I bet your head wouldn't have fit into the coupe after all that attention.
