My List of Roadster Modifications
1 Attachment(s)
Alright so I'm ready to start modifying my '05 black on black roadster.
I think chrome grille looks bad, and I'm very picky about rims. I like factory default look of the non-SRT very much. Having said this, I propose to my list of modifications and I invite any feedback on any of these mods or warnings I should hear about first. Thanks so much. Not too cheesy, not too modified. I want it to look as if it was a factory chrome job and that nothing looks out of the ordinary. Below is a real picture of my current Crossfire, before any modifications. |
Re: My List of Roadster Modifications
Personally, I have to disagree with you about the chrome grill. I think it looks great against the black. But, since you don't care for it, you may want to paint your grill black to match. There is a white and a red Crossfire posted in the gallery with color matched grills, maybe a black one also. I think you could go this route and be satisfied.
I don't know about a chrome spoiler, I'd have to see one, doesn't sound good, though. The diffusers that come from CTD are white. You'd have to have them chromed, if that's possible. |
Re: My List of Roadster Modifications
Nice list!
As a suggestion, the chrome rear spoiler may look better in black carbon fiber because of the already chrome Chrysler wing emblem on the rear end. I think it would be sharp with the black cloth top. The Valentine 1 has a large head unit and may block a good portion of the windshield. My detector is mounted in the center of the rear shelf and I use the audio alerts. I have a Coupe and it detects front and rear signals perfectly in this location. The Roadster rear shelf is a couple inches higher than the Coupe. I'm also ordering the clear side markers from CTD Germany. A very nice choice. I've always liked the cleaner Euro look of these lenses. Good luck! We'll be looking for those photos. |

Hey thanks for the comments!
I have no idea how I'd get my spoiler in carbon fibre... But your suggestion on the Valentine 1 is a great one, thank you. I will put it in the rear shelf instead. |
Re: My List of Roadster Modifications
I got my factory chrome rims and center caps from Capital Original Wheels. The price was $775.28 installed with my tire monitors installed at original locations. All you do is exchange wheels. Check them out, call 1-800-463-1792.
