Default My List of Roadster Modifications

Alright so I'm ready to start modifying my '05 black on black roadster.

I think chrome grille looks bad, and I'm very picky about rims. I like factory default look of the non-SRT very much. Having said this, I propose to my list of modifications and I invite any feedback on any of these mods or warnings I should hear about first. Thanks so much.

Chrome Front/Rear Turning Bulbs - http://ctd-germany.com/shops/crossfire/shop_e/index.php
Interior Glove Box Badge - Metal badge that says Crossfire, to be placed on the bottom of the compartment.
Valentine 1 Hardwire - Hardwired V1 radar detector, attached to windshield.
V6 Badging - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-V...23704102QQrdZ1
Chrome Side Fins - http://ctd-germany.com/shops/crossfire/shop_e/index.php
White Marker Lights (Front & Back) - http://ctd-germany.com/shops/crossfire/shop_e/index.php
Darken Grill Mod - https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ghlight=04fire
Polished Black License Plate Holder
Focal Polyglass Kevlar 162kp 6.5" Door Speakers & Tweaters

*Considering the following*
20% Tint Side Windows - Custom local job.
Chrome Spoiler - Custom job at local chroming shop.
Chrome Wiper Blades - http://cgi.ebay.com/Chrome-Wiper-Bla...QQcmdZViewItem
Chrome Rear Diffuser - http://ctd-germany.com/shops/crossfire/shop_e/index.php
Chrome Factory Rims - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FACTO...spagenameZWDVW

I want to maintain the perfect blend of dark black and chrome. Not too cheesy, not too modified. I want it to look as if it was a factory chrome job and that nothing looks out of the ordinary.

Below is a real picture of my current Crossfire, before any modifications.

Cool Re: My List of Roadster Modifications

Personally, I have to disagree with you about the chrome grill. I think it looks great against the black. But, since you don't care for it, you may want to paint your grill black to match. There is a white and a red Crossfire posted in the gallery with color matched grills, maybe a black one also. I think you could go this route and be satisfied.

I don't know about a chrome spoiler, I'd have to see one, doesn't sound good, though. The diffusers that come from CTD are white. You'd have to have them chromed, if that's possible.

Nice list!
As a suggestion, the chrome rear spoiler may look better in black carbon fiber because of the already chrome Chrysler wing emblem on the rear end. I think it would be sharp with the black cloth top.
The Valentine 1 has a large head unit and may block a good portion of the windshield. My detector is mounted in the center of the rear shelf and I use the audio alerts. I have a Coupe and it detects front and rear signals perfectly in this location. The Roadster rear shelf is a couple inches higher than the Coupe.
I'm also ordering the clear side markers from CTD Germany. A very nice choice. I've always liked the cleaner Euro look of these lenses.
Good luck! We'll be looking for those photos.

Hey thanks for the comments!

I have no idea how I'd get my spoiler in carbon fibre...

But your suggestion on the Valentine 1 is a great one, thank you. I will put it in the rear shelf instead.

I got my factory chrome rims and center caps from Capital Original Wheels. The price was $775.28 installed with my tire monitors installed at original locations. All you do is exchange wheels. Check them out, call 1-800-463-1792.
