When will they be available (for sale or on the lots) in the US?

It's sometimes easier to just post these photo's in your thread than asking people to look at your gallery. Hope this helps.

Thank You 13k9...I just like to see which picture gets the most hits. So far the Special Edition Roadster is running ahead of the others.

These are some photos I've found online -- since the OP doesn't want me to link to the photos in his/her user gallery. Not sure if ALL are 2007 models -- but I think they are.

Actually, I believe it is gold. There have been other postings on this new color. I like the color of the special edition roadster, but I still think the silver windshield surround would be a better choice with that color. Even worse is the fact that DC has decided to use the SRT-6 wheels on it! Those wheels should have been exclusive to the SRT-6, and now they've lost their exclusivity. What next, a fixed spoiler?

I just don't know what it is...Somehow, that new purple one is reminding me a lot of the 2007 Sebring, mixed with a PT Cruiser? I don't know what it is...on the special edition, those look a lot like SRT rims. Anyone know if they are? Thanks.

Did you ever stop to think, that I didn't want MY photos in the thread. As stated in my prior post to 13K9, I want to see which picture gets the most hits. I certainly didn't give up the rights to my pics to any members of the forum. I knew that the forum was going to place a watermark on the pics, but it doesn't give you the rights to them...

Not to stir up trouble, but did you really take those pictures?

The gold and machine grey colors were new for the 2006 models marketed outside the US. We've already seen both of them several times before. The only new color for 2007 is the bright silver metallic featured in the text of the official Chrysler press release from September 1st. We had not seen an example of that bright silver color previously, but it certainly does seem to be the color in JM Piquet's gallery shot of the new coupe model. But, hey, different computers show colors differently sometimes...

I didn't want to say anything last night, but... The special edition was actually released last year as an '06 model. I remember getting an email from chrysler about it. Yes those are the SRT 6 wheels. Of course I can't prove it since I just went through my emails and it seems to be the only thing I deleted in a full year.

I think they may have many SRT-6 wheels in stock. Since they are discontinuing SRT-6 program, they have to use up those resources. Also, the new silver will replace the alabaster.

Is this "hit" counter on the photo's some sort of official survey or marketing study or is it for your personal interest?

The so called red 2007 special edition was posted here long ago. It was supposed to of been introduced as a 2006 model. You can keep the black window surround and put the wheels back on the SRT where they belong. The whole concept is a cheap idea and just shows Chrysler's lack of involvement with the Crossfire...
