Default Base Roadster

A couple weeks ago, I had no intention of buying a Crossfire, but while visiting my dealer for Pacifica service I saw they had a Black Base Roadster on their lot. Looked at a lot of convertibles, but decided the styling and the pricing of this X-Fire would give me the most bang for my buck. Wish I knew about this forum, prior to my purchase, because I am not sure how educated I was in negotiating a price. The details: $35,110 list, $500 in Floor Mats and Illuminated Entry, 7 yr/70,000 powertrain and 5 yr/50,000 Max Care Bumper to Bumper included. 38 miles on it when I picked it up, dealer had it on lot for five months. I paid $25,900 for it, plus tax. Does this sound OK? Thanks in advance.

Cool Re: Base Roadster

Pricing seems to be a bit off, 35k list is pricing for the Limited model. I think 19K to 21K for a base model is more the norm these days. What really counts is that you are happy with your purchase.

Is the Base available as a roadster? I thought it was only a Limited or STR. If you indeed have a Limited the $26k price was fair.

The limited roadster lists for about $40K while the base roadster lists for $35K. The price doesn't sound too bad for a roadster.

Thanks for the feedback Yes, it is a base roaster and the sticker was $ 35,110. Did Chrysler lower their Sticker Prices recently?

I recently got an offer from DC for $5k off the top on the Crossfire and other models and 0% financing for 72 month. Gee thanks DC! About 3 months too late for me. I still did okay price-wise. At least I'm happy with the car and the deal I got.

Prices for Crossfires are all over the place. Yours is brand new, you didn’t steal it, but you did OK. The real bargains are on the demos and corporate show cars, or pre-driven models.

Congratulation, and welcome to the forum.
