Default Surprise, surprise

Put my new roadster on lift yesterday to clean and seal undercarriage with waxoyl. Checked construction and design, all looks very good and well put together. Surprised by dual exhaust system. Found it to be non magnetic stainless steel. I would say 4130. Why don't they advertise that...The only magnetic steel was converter bodies due to heat produced. Removed one wheel to see if properly anti seized...It was. Have a Mini that took a mallet to remove wheels due to corrosion...car had 1,200 miles on it. It too is Waxoyled, corrosion no longer a problem...Gary

Waxoyl is a British rust proof/killer. Comes in clear...looks like beeswax. Mix with 33% white spirits (paint thinner) and apply with manual spray bottle. I acquire mine from Moss Motors. Have used for many years on British sports I restore...Works well. You do want to wear spray mask and goggles when applying...

It has one converter on each pass. Oxygen sensor on each pass...not done cheaply. Deeper I get the more impressed I am... Gary
