Default New Crossfire Limited Owner

Hello everyone, I've been lurking about for the past 2 to 3 weeks reading all the posts and trying to find if these Crossfires were great cars or a piece of junk like I have heard some people say. Although I have noticed that some have had problems, it doesn't seem out of the ordinary that one would see with any make of automobile. We bit the bullet this afternoon and traded the wife's '05 300C for an '06 Alabaster White Limited Roadster. The kids are all driving on their own now and we rarely have more than the 2 of us riding along, if we do we will just use the Grand Cherokee. She has wanted a convertible all her life so with our 10th anniversary coming up next week we decided to treat each other with a fun toy.
Although her favorite was the classic yellow, I just could not find one at a decent price without having to travel 1,000 miles to get one.
I think we got a pretty good deal: $28,500 for a brand new model, after trading in her 300C with 41,000 miles we had to kick in another $3,500.
Sticker on this Crossfire was $41,995.
Now I'm ready to get a windscreen, lighted sill plates and a sprint booster.
Any other goodies I should know about?

Congratulations on your new Crossfire, and welcome to the forum. There are some good mods you may want to consider. The windscreen is a great start. If you like chrome there a number of options that include a chrome grill, side fins, windshield surround, and interior accent pieces. Other performance mods include exhausts, ECU mod, and K&N filters.
Check the threads, and ask questions about them if you need assistance. There's quite a blend of knowledgeable members that will chime in on any questions.

I forgot to mention. Andrew's Crossfire emblems are very nice, and an inexpensive mod.

Congratulations and welcome to the BEST Crossfire Forum! GREAT COLOR CHOICE.

I would suggest lowering your car with the Eibach Pro Kit. The ride, handling and look is much improved.

Welcome aboard. I'm afraid I have some bad news for you. The trouble with having a Crossfire is other cars are very dull after you get used to driving a Crossfire. I love my car and have had zero trouble with it. BTW get used to people looking at it every where you go.

I've already found that out today, some young lady wouldn't let me switch lanes because she was next to me gawking & drooling at the ride. Darn, the wife was with me too.

Welcome and enjoy.

I just happened to stop at a dealership today to browse the lot (they were closed) and spotted an '06 yellow LTD in the showroom stickered at $31,500.
