Other than X-Fire, any other Mopars in your Garage ?

We own an '05 Crossfire roadster, an '05 Dodge Magnum SXT and a '92 Dodge Stealth RT Twin Turbo. Love each and every one of them too!

But is the Crossfire really considered a Mopar?

Certainly a valid point, the old days of quintessential American built cars is pretty much dead regardless of which particular 4 wheeler you are referring to, even more so true with the Crossfire perhaps.

As for my home, I have 3 (soon to be 4 when I buy a xf) I've got a '05 Durango limited Hemi, an '03 Quad cab 1500 4x4 hemi and a '68 Plymouth Barracuda bored 340.

'06 Magnum R/T with 340 hp hemi. It's the wife's car, but it can go. I tried to talk her into the SRT8, but she thought the mileage was too low and the exhaust was too polluting.

Besides the Crossfire we have an '05 300 touring soon to be a 300C or 300 SRT8.

Does a Town and Country mini van count as a MOPAR? Oh yeah a second CROSSFIRE... if a CROSSFIRE COUNTS AS A mopar.

The '04 Crossfire, a 1996 Viper GTS, my 1969 AMX, and a 1968 AMX (that needs restored).
OK, I know they didn't start out being Mopars, but Chrysler purchased AMC 20 years ago, so technically, that makes em Mopars now. ;)

A 1996 Dodge Ram Sport w/200k on the odometer. Still running strong. Hope my crossfire is as trouble free as the Ram has been.

Calling the crossfire a Mopar car is like calling the new Jags, Fords! Shouldn't be done!! The only thing ford in the Jags is the money invested, and vice-versa with the XF. My $.02

IMHO, like it or not, your Crossfire is labeled a CHYRSLER!. A Jaguar is labeled as a Jaguar, even though Jaguar is owned by Ford. I have owned two Jaguars, and in no way, shape, or form do they resemble a Ford (thank God).

Yes, my Crossfire was purchased from a Chrysler dealer as a new car made by Chrysler, but I know that it had the sheet with it that says it has 89% German content, was built by Karmann in Germany, has mostly Mercedes parts, design, and heritage from a SLK 320, and the car itself knows that it is basically a Mercedes with a different label on it and is very happy with it (I can tell that by the way she likes to drive, perform, and makes me smile like a maniac when I drive it :D).

I don't give a damn that it says Chrysler. I am just ecstatic that I am lucky enough to own and enjoy one.

As do I, but from a purist Mopar perspective, and I'm speaking about the Mopar enthusiast, it's a Chrysler, but is it REALLY a MOPAR? I like to hear from them.

From the purist MOPAR perspective, IMO - NO. The Crossfire is basically a MB in new clothes, with none, or very few MOPAR Parts. My definition of MOPAR is that which is historically accepted to be CHRYSLER associated, not having ANY association with MB.

As a true old school "Mopar" guy, (I was a Mopar guy when Mopars were not considered cool) only cars from the 70's back are considered "Mopars" Even the Turbo 2.2 era cars are not truly considered by the hardcore. No way on the crossfire/Jeeps/AMCs etc. That being said I am looking to purchase a SRT-6 roadster for my wife to join my Charger SRT-8, SRT-4 ACR autocross car, 53' Plymouth Wagon (Hot rodded flat head 6), 50' Chrysler custom (440 OD auto 4WDB), 98' Jeep Wrangler(Rock Crawler), 98' Grand Cherokee 5.9, 99' Ram 2500 (V10 Baby), 69' Dart Swinger 340, 69' 440+6 4 Spd Superbee. The Crossfire will fill the place vacated by my recently sold Petty Blue 440 +6 4 Spd Superbird.
