Interior Color
Stopped at a dealer today and he was surprised by my Aeroblue Crossfire with white leather interior. He said he had never seen the white before and had 20 Crossfires on the lot, asked if I had it made custom. How many of you out there have the white interior or seen one at your meets?
There was an Aero Blue Roadster on the lot with the Vanilla interior when I got mine. I would have jumped all over that interior instead of my Light Slate/Dark Slate two tone except the Vanilla car had an automatic and I wanted the 6 speed.
I think the Aero Blue with Vanilla interior is a very elegant combination.

Great color combo, couldn't find 1 when I was looking. Couldn't wait - Jag was coming off lease and had to move. Ended up with Graphite roadster with red interior. - my 2nd choice.
Count me as one lucky Xfire owner with the two tone vanilla interior! I love the color combo and it's a real head turner...Once I saw this car, it was all over for me...I love it today as much as the day I drove it off the lot.

I've got the Vanilla/Slate like golfergal, with an Aero Blue roadster, only 6 speed. I went to Michigan for it. I knew it was the only one that I really wanted.
It isn't easy to keep clean. I leave the top down most of the time, hoping to avoid future problems with the motors. The result is a lot of dust and dirt as well as extra time to clean the interior. The steering wheel seems to be the worst, followed by the spot on the arm rest where my left elbow goes. Maybe I need to spend a little more time cleaning myself?

white steering wheels used to be a rare and toney upgrade on MB's back in the 50's and 60's -
i dig the white...
Enjoy those white interiors with the white steering wheel if you have them because they're not white anymore. The new vanilla interiors have dark grey wheels which is why I'll probably drop out of the XF family when my lease is up. Wanted white (Alabaster) and Vanilla 6 spd this time. No Alabaster. Would probably settle on Black (what I have) with Vanilla 6 spd, now they have black wheels. Not nearly as exotic looking. I'll wait to see if there is a new 2008 color line up but if not I'm probably gone.
JCoddcars,
If you do a forum search, you will find that the illuminated sill plates are a simple 'accessory' from chrysler.
I happened to change the color of mine. Click the link in my signature for the 'how-to' thread.
Cheers!

I made my courteous "newbie intro" post earlier, so hopefully I can jump in now. Like I said there, I didn't know anything about these cars when I bought this one for my wife the other day. But it was the color combination that first caught my eye ... About 30 minutes later it was sitting in my driveway.
My wife was completely knocked out by the interior color combination. I knew I liked it, but wasn't sure how she'd feel about it. But thankfully when I got it home, all she said was "Wow - That's gorgeous!" It really is a great combination. Rain, rain please go away ...

We drive the Aero Blue with slate interior however, it was the Aero Blue with the white interior that my wife sat in at the 2004 Thanksgiving New Car show that caught our attention.
My wife looked so good sitting in that car with that big smile, I just had to get an XF for her!
