Default Ready to Paint Engine Cover...

Any more great ideas and pictures before I get into it ? I searched and found some very nice and creative covers. Tough choices.

There should be a ton of engine cover pictures to give you ideas, I did a thread about them a year ago. I've seen some really nice and professional ones that cost a lot of money. Mine was a homemade job that cost me about $10 bucks and several hours work. I used Rustoleum Hammered Paint, taped it off so the bullet stayed silver and scratched off the letters so they are silver. Also did the spine down the center and the wings and logo. Used an xacto knife to do the details on the Chrysler logo and letters then I covered it all with clearcoat. Good luck with whatever way you choose and please add your pics when its done.

Pat, Thanks for the details. Its looks very sharp, especially the color and the wings.

Well I finally got my Mercedes engine cover! It only cost me $23,000! The only problem is there is a car attached to it? Now if I can only talk my wife out of her engine cover! Doubtful, very doubtful.
