Default price input sought by wannabe Xfire owner

Hi all,
A veteran forum member suggested I throw out to the group the question of what's for sale out there at bargain prices?
I'm in lower Michigan near Ind and Ohio, but the continental U.S. is a great marketplace for eSales and shipping.

Ideal would be the impossible combination? red ext with cedar and black interior.

Otherwise, the interior of cedar/black, automatic, leather, lower miles with warranties transferable, and maybe a custom paint job down the way.
I KNOW, repainting is a bad idea. I HEAR THE SCREAMING OPPOSITION!

If you've spotted a great deal, let me know.

best,
cjb

It seems that there are a lot of crossfires in the chicago area. I bought mine a few months ago, on EBAY, from a place called Speedway auto mall outside of Chicago. They had bought several overstock '05 cars when Chrysler instituted the warranties in feb. The cedar/slate interior is going to be a little harder to find. You can't get the cedar/slate on a red car.

And at least check in with tod64k here on the forum. He works for a dealership, often has great deals, and is extremely knowledgeable.

Thanks all for your continuing input,

to clarify, I'm looking for a roadster model, and I don't need an SRT, the basic V6 is plenty peppy for me. All season tires are desirable.

And if cedar/slate int was never available in the red ext, then that's a reality check good to know.

I am in contact with the internet director at Tom Ahl, thanks to their expansive listings on eBay.

best,
cjb

If I was contemplating a 'never made' color combination, I'd be more inclined to change the interior than I would be to repaint the car. Really good paint work will cost a bundle, and you can find the interior components if you aren't in a hurry.

kinda overpriced, a roadster is only worth about $21k, while the hard tops sell all day long for $15-17k, now if that's a roadster SRT6 then that's adifferent story, that car is worth $27k

looked like SRT wheels but i couldn't see the wing. they've got quite a few on their site but none say SRT.

it was funny...they advertised coupes under $20k, and the roadsters $7k to $9k (like i said, can't remember) more. i sat here and laughed.

Austintown is in the Youngstown area...really lousy economy down there. i imagine they'll have those cars a while. and with the Chevy Cobalt plant in nearby Lordstown it's a "GM" area.

I got my new 06' from Russ Sturgis at Steve White Motors. They still have several 06's left that are all priced similar to these they have on eBay:

At current prices, the Crossfire is a real steal.

The '06 and '07 base roadsters are equipped with the SRT type wheels.

Just make sure that you do some research on all the deals around you I was able to pick up my crossfire which is a 2004 with 20,000 miles with no dents perfect paint for only $15,000. I live in Los Angeles and others were selling for mid $20,000s in the same area. I bought mine through a dealer and was able to transfer the warranty.

I'd make sure to budget in about an extra grand for new tires...the Conti ASP's really sucked last winter in the snow!

Saw an '07 roadster online, about 200 miles away, with the knee airbags, CLOTH SEATS base unit, with just over 1,000 miles for $22,500. They're checking if has all season tires, warranty and if electric harness is in place for substituting leather seats.

What think?

oh, and this is cute...the '05 white roadster ltd locally, with the cedar/slate interior, still bears the hang tag for $21,990...but with the snow falling, dealer saying, MAKE AN OFFER!
