Default Crossfire Windblocker

BUT, which one??? There are quite a few different ones & styles & claims. Any comments on which is the best for the $ spent, one that effectivly blocks the wind & noise & does not rattle, is attached without any drilling etc. What about the one that has the straps around the hoops?, does a full screen which goes behing the hoops effectivly accomplish all needs better than the one that just covers the area between the seats etc. Any comments will be appreciaterd by people that have installed & used them for a period of time & conditions. I have seen them priced from $75 to $200 - $300, what about the Chrysler factory one??

I purchased the factory Windscreen from Chrysler and it is an improvement however I have not tried any full windscreens to compare. The one I purchased required drilling and inserting some special threaded rivets. This required a special tool that costs about $200. I chose not to drill and used 3M VHB double sided tape. I put a full length piece on the channel, trimmed it to match the width and placed it on my 05 Roadster Limited. It works perfect and I have no rattles or holes in my car.

Thumbs up Re: Crossfire Windblocker

I received a message frm windrestrictor.com that they will soon be unveiling a full idth version for the xFire roadster. Bent at angles to avoid losing legroom and without a doubt the finest on the market. With the Forum discount, it'll be worth it, IMHO!

I'm not big on those clear plastic ones. I'm getting the windblocker at www.tuningshop.co.uk. A bit more expensive but it looks and functions better than the plastic ones.

With the windblocker the car is noticably quieter with less back draft. My wife felt it was better but not a huge difference. Again I have not tried the larger ones that go across the hoops. My feeling for price it was a nice addition.
