Well folks that's it.....no more are being made. Only 80,000 worldwide over 5 years should make our cars something of a rarity.

Anyone know if they are calling any of them 2008s?

? Are VIN #s just for cars imported to the USA, or does someone in the UK have say Vin# 79999 (mine is 72575)?

For the long term collector perhaps this isnt bad news.

For average user, I wonder if this will affect availablity of repair parts.

not worried about the collectability or availability of parts but it's good to know you don't see them coming and going everywhere

I'm afraid parts are going to be an issue ever since Chrysler and Daimler split. By law they have to be available for about 10 years, but that doesn't mean they'll be easy to get. Expect delays and cost. That's the price you pay for rarity.

Of course, with our cars not holding value, I'm thinking of picking up a duplicate so I have "spares".
