Srt-6
So with the new roadsters hitting the streets, what's up with the SRT-6 package? is it no longer available? We have a 05' SRT w/ only about 10k miles on it and love it, its scarry fast and we have a great time in it.
But...it seems MB/Chrysler really lowered the bar and dropped the price compaired to a few years ago. Are the new ones just cute little sports cars and have they been neutered??

The SRT-6's were only made in 2005. A few 06's were built but were not meant for sale. Hang on to yours and enjoy. There's lots of base and limited owners that would like to trade up for it.
We surely will hang on to her...I think in time it will be like a special Camero Z-28 or Mustang Mach-1 where only a few high performance models were made. Should always be desireable.
For a little Christmas present I filled it with some 100 octane for my wife. What a difference! I believe the engine must use the knock sensor etc. to bump up the advance and make use of the added octane, because it is SUPER smooth and HAULS ***. I had it out the other night, did a little power brake then let it sling shot out, and it flat FRIED the frigg'n tires with the anti-spin button pushed in. Got home and the garage smelled like burnt rubber.
I hope they like the present at $5.00 a gallon...won't happen too often...

Chrysler, after going private (Cerberus bought out) and no longer being associated with Mercedes Benz cancelled several models... Magnum, Crossfire, others ... So, hang onto your SRT6. They won't make any more Chrysler/MBZ clone cars now... or ever.
CrossfireLTD...I see in your signature you list your SRT roadster as #32195. I've read here that they only made 900 of these for the entire world market. Whats up with all the extra digits??

Here in the UK 100 Octane runs at around £5 a gallon, that’s approximately $10 a gallon using the current exchange rate.
I have an Audi A4 3.0 Quattro and a Crossfire roadster that were both filled up at the weekend, worked out at £60 each that’s £120 or $240 and to me that’s expensive fuel.
Oh please god let out fuel cost the same as it costs in the USA.
Alan.
