NEW 2007 Crossfire PRICES dropping?
As I said in a past tread
A friend bought a Brand New 2006 Crossfire Roadster for $24,000 New.
He said the dealer has a few 2006 Crossfires at $19,000 NEW on his lot...
I want to get a 2007 roadster for the same $24,000 he paid.
I feel since we are in the winter months and Dodge wants to get rid of these cars maybe I might be able to get one at that price.......
My local dealer has one in the paper as a
2007 crossfire limited coupe MSRP $36,045,,,,,,selling it for in the paper for the third weeks at $23,997.I think I am a tad too tall for that car.Thats why I will look for a roadster and use it only nice days in the summer.....
To me why buy a used crossfire since the prices are dropping just like the GTOs did...........Any input lol....JT

My point is
I really never was looking to buy a Crossfire(going to buy a Challenger}
But at the prices that I hear,I feel you cannot go wrong.
And If in the next few weeks if I can get a 07 crossfire roadster
at a great closed out price I will be more then happy to buy one.
I feel sometimes you can always get a great deal when you are not looking for one....JT

Yeaaaa why not????????
With Prices between $20,000 - $24,000 how could someone pass up a great deal.
Since these cars are very slow movers ,I am sure there will be many on dealer lots and I am very sure prices will drop a bit more in early 2008..Then I will pay cash for the car, hate payments....JT

On a forum for owners of cars whose prices are dropping like rocks?
Why is that funny?
I don't think I used the word Droping like Rocks???Maybe you feel they are dropping like rocks
I think the ones that are annoyed are the ones that OVER paid for the car.
Its not our problem that you have over paid?
Just like the people that bought the Grandam lookalike GTO for $15,000 above what you can get the car today. They are annoyed that you can get a new GTO for $22,000 when they paid alot more
Samething with the Idiolts that paid $5000 over MSRP on the Mustang GT.
People are just annoyed prices are coming down on their cars and they will
lose when they resale them???Thats not our problem
The lucky ones like us that see greattttt deals out there are very lucky, but the ones that overpaid,Get over it,its only money

Unless we are in the market for a classic - the minute we hand over the $ we are all upside down. While some of us might have paid a priemuim for our cars - at the time - if we all walked away feeling that we hadn't been taken and that the dealer was fair - then good - leave it at that!
We got a fair deal at the time - Who knew? or better yet Who cares!'
drive the car you want to drive; enjoy it for what it is and get over the money issue.

As I said if yeaaaaa can read(hummm maybe not}
I was not looking to buy a Crossfire until a friend told me that the great deal he got on his.
I havea 2006 Stang Gt that I use everyday......
But if I can get a great deal on a Black 2007 Crossfire Roadster I will buy one and keep it in my garage just for the summer time.
Money is never a problem when there is a good deal out there............
Now its time to start to look around

A car's only worth what someone else will pay at that moment in time - That's the rule that bugs owners the most. I paid under $20K for my '06 roadster limited at a dealer auction some months ago. I knew they'd be dropping, but I also knew the wife would love this thing and I wasn't buying it with future value in mind.
Will a large dealer sell you one for a steal just to get rid of them? Sometimes they won't, but they'll take it to an auction and get less for it than you are willing to give. Why? They don't want the public seeing them as a wholesaler, or having to entertain lowball offers on other cars they have in their inventory. How do I know that? I have a dealer license, and I see the big boys do it all the time.

Midway Automotive in Post Falls, Idaho has tons of new 06 Limited Crossfires (roadsters and coupes) for 20,000 right now...they also have some new 07's but I dont know the price on those.
