intake screens
Hello folks, love the forum, lots of jucie info. Love my 06 Blaze Red SE roadster, hate the shifter 
, but I`ll deal with that later. While installing k&n`s I noticed the screens in the intake system. Just wondering if removing these will hurt anything? I`ve dealt with these types of devices before and am pretty sure why they are there ( flame arrestors) and am not fond of them, very restrictive to air flow.
Also a heads up to any SE owners. I work at a Chrysler, no, a Diamler Chry,, no, a Chrysler LLC, wait, my head is spinning. Sorry but as a CHRYLER retiree I hope you understand. Anyway back to my point, at our dealership we`ve sold 7 or 8 SE`s and three have had corrosion between the clear coat and the aluminium of the rims, I`ve also seen center cap emblem corrosion (mine) , check yours while warranty still covers them. Ok, I`m done yaking, Now if this snow would just melt......
