Hello everyone
Hi everyone.
I have been lurking this forum for a couple of weeks as I am interested in purchasing a Crossfire. I am currently looking at a new 2007 Saphire Blue Roadster Limtied with the Black/Red Leather and Auto. The dealer is asking $31500 drive out and that includes all taxes and papers. I am curious if this is a good price for the car? I hope this is the right forum to ask this question.

Dillin

First of all Welcome! It's been awhile since I've seen anyone post a question about the price of buying a brand NEW xfire. There are some great deals on some used ones out there. But if you want it brand spanking new, I commend you. I would think you could get him to go under $30k. A lot of it depends on the part of the country. Where are you?
Hi and welcome, I think that is pretty high for a car that is dropping in price right now. I purchased my 2005 silver blue metalic limited roadster with 7,600 miles on it in excellent condition for $20.000 out the door. I realize yours is a 2007 but if your is a limited it seems high. An SRT would get the higher price.
Yep, I don't see why you could not get it for $25K out the door in the Chicago area.Trust me, they want to sell it to you more than you want to buy it. Make them an offer.
You are getting good advise, I bought a new 06 Roadster ltd. w/auto for 26.5 last april. My brother in law works for Chrysler,. at that time the dealers had a $10,000 allowance to move the cars. Of course the dealers don,t have to pass that on to you. I shopped all over the South till I found a dealer in alabama who sold me mine. Get on the internet and shop. You wont find a better ragtop than the CF. Good luck!!

Thanks everyone for the replies.. That price was the lowest I could get the dealer to go down to. Have been to four different dealers and they will only knock about $13k off the sticker, they just would not budge anymore. The sticker on the car is $41,515 + some dealer add ons that brings it to $42,476 so I thought that was a good price. I guess I will try to bargain some more..
I am located in the Houston area.
Again, thanks for all your replies..

Thanks evryone..
I got a call from another dealer today. They are willing to let go of a 2007 Limited roadster with 6 spd for $25850 which equals to $28K drive out including all taxes and titles.
The dealer said the discount is about $15K off sticker.. and it includes the $10K they get from the factory for selling the car and an extra $5K from them...
It sounds good to me, what do ya'll think??

That sounds like a good deal, especially with the lifetime drivetrain warranty Chrysler now offers. And I guarantee you'll enjoy the 6-speed more than a silly slap-stick even with the rough shifting between 1st-2nd.
