Default Any tips on where to mount Windrestrictor BLM dimmer switch?

Okay, I installed in my roadster a few months ago without hooking up the LED wiring. Now that I have the brake light module, I'm ready to go forth and do wondrous things for mankind. I'd like to keep the BLM in the cockpit for easy access to the on/off switch and battery holder. Has anyone mounted their BLM in a convenient, but relatively hidden location? If so,
1. Were your wires long enough to reach the left brake light wires? Did you have to extend any of the wires?
2. Did you find a good place to mount the module and its velcro strip?
3. Do you have a photo(s) you can share?

I'd really like this to look like a professional installation job.

Why don't you come to the Houston area XFire drivers meeting this coming Saturday morning and I can show you what I did on my car to hook up the Windrestrctor leds. I didn't hook my leds to the brake light system, but I can tell/show you about running the wires.

They will be another XFire at the meeting that has the Windrestrictor leds that, I believe, are tied into the brake lights and may be exactly what you want to look at.

I'm about ready to install my new custom Wind Restrictor with the BLM and I'd love to see photos of where you guys mounted your module. Any chance you could post some?

Sheldon
