Selfishmobile
I admit the styling is not for everyone but we like it. Funny, but when I saw the first ones a couple of years ago, I didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling I have now. Thing is, we went in to test drive a 350Z convertible and hated it. Took the Xfire for a ride, came back and told em to write it up!

I'm 46 and I bet since I bought my Crossfire Roadster Limited in sept I've been asked a hundred times if I'm having a midlife crisis. I just tell them NO, if I were having a midlife crisis I would have bought a red Corvette or gotten a mistress. Can't really justify the cost of a new Corvette or a mistress.

I get tons of ribbing... I had an SRT-10 Ram truck before this, and now everyone keeps calling it my "girlie" car...we will see what they say once this "girlie" passes them.
I can honestly say that this is a donation to my youth... seeing as I refuse to grow up and I can actually afford a wonderful machine such as this... I'll indulge.
damn straight it's selfishmobil, I've traded mine in but will purchase a used one in another 2 years. My favorite move in the little Crossy was tail gating SUV's on the 405, then blow past them, illegally of course into the car pool lane. lol if your a real jerk you can just give them the bird and take her up to 120mph, then exit swiftly.
We had a little block party/BBQ last Saturday on our cul-de-sac and all the women/girls were asking me about my "cute" car. I told them I didn't particularly care for that word being used to describe it but they all insisted that, being non-car obsessed individuals, this was the highest praise they could offer for any car and that I should just accept it as a high compliment. OK then, fine by me.

Any other good natured ribbing from friends?
I think those huge SUVs that some people drive around in are the ultimate Selfishmobiles - they take up more space, use more gas, and I rarely see more than one person in them.

The other day in a parking lot an elderly couple came out from the store and the wife said "oh what a cute little car" and her husband said to her cars such as that are not called cute they are "Sports Cars" and then he asked me how fast it goes? I simply answered faster than anything else I ever owned. He smiled and said be careful son there are a lot of bad drivers out there. At my age I let my wife do most of the driving now. How I wish to be young again he said as he smiled. It was something I will never forget.

Let's see: "it's not practical" - well, it is for me! All I do is drive back & forth to work, the kids are gone, I've got a kamikaze mobile that will fit just about anything I want to haul in it (the Cougar) so it's perfectly practical!
"It's so small" - yup, your point?
As stated above "It's cute little car" - Why, thank you but I wouldn't call it "cute".
"It looks fast but I'll bet my Mazda 3 will take it" - Please, oh please can we try & just what are you willing to bet?
"It looks fast but I'll bet my new Honda Accord would keep it honest" - yes, boss, whatever you say!

[quote=Kurts]Apkano, you cannot help but win every time with that argument. They have to be the most butt-ugly vehicle on the road today. One of my co-workers has one & I stare in shocked amazement everytime I see her pull into the lot.
Tied with the Subaru B9 Tribeca !!
