Anyone find a good place to put a satelitte antennae on a Roadster?

 

On my coupe they put the GPS on the dashboard, scooted very close to the windshield and it blends in very well. The satellite on is just at the rear hatch on the roof. I realize you can't do the roof thing but look at the dashboard possibility.

 

On my Roadster they installed it on the exterior of the windshield above the mirror! It seems to work well from this point and is not very noticable.

 

I put mine on the deck behind the seats, postioned under the window. works good

 

I was curious-where is the STOCK GPS antenna installed? Could this position be used for aftermarket units?

 

The instructions for the nav installation says to install under the center of the dash and above the ac vents.

 

This would cause me to assume that the dash "skin" is transparent to microwaves? That is what I'm thinkin'.
