Hello to All ! ! !
NEW CROSSFIRE OWNER! ! !
April 26th was the day.....picked up our 2007 Yellow Crossfire Convertible!
The year the Crossfire came out our dealership had a big evening to promote new Chrysler models and we went to take a look. We could not afford to consider the Crossfire back then but the look of the car certainly got me!
The owner of the dealership, seeing my keen interest insisted on taking me out, in his crossfire coupe, for a spin. What a car! Driving it down the highway was quite a rush and I got a good demo of the overall car from the owner of the dealership. I told him it needed to be a convertible and he told me they were coming out with a convertible top the following year...WOW!
For a sportscar it had a lot of room in the trunk to go away for weekends. I stayed in love with the car after that. I knew one day I would have one.
So now we can afford a second car that I can store away for the winter...and guess what we bought. I looked in autotrader.ca and found a couple of yellows which is the color I wanted! I did not have to test drive it nor to touch it. I saw the picture and that was enough. After some negotiations I got the price I wanted and the weekend of April 26th we flew to Toronto, enjoyed a weekend in Toronto and on Sunday we came back home to Ottawa.
Now the years of enjoyment are just beginning ! ! ! Yahoo ! ! !

I can relate. Fell for the Crossfire in 2003, couldn't afford one untill 2008. It was a long time to pine.
Enjoy your new ride. Hope you never get over it.

Hi Jacques! Welcome!
I am in Ottawa as well. I am happy there is another Crossfire owner. I have seen a yellow roadster from time to time on Ottawa roads so you will probably see it too. I have seen a white roadster but the license plate was Quebec. There is also another red roadster in town but I do not see her very often.
There is a blue coupe that I saw in a service bay when I was at the dealers. Other than that, the Crossfire is a pretty rare car in town. Enjoy it, you will have a lot of fun.
My license plate is LtMyFire. I am a Doors fan. I wish I had a quarter for every time a guy pulled up to me at the stop lights, rolled down his windows and flicked a lighter. I did not choose the plate, it was a gift.
I will look for you around town!

It is nice to hear that there are some others in Ottawa as I have not seen many either. Last year when I talked to the manager at Cyrville Chrysler he told nme that they had not even sold one of the Crossfires ..ever.
I know there was a white convertible in Orleans because it was for sale 2 weeks ago but it sold before I went to see it.
I live in the east end of Ottawa and do a lot of driving downtown.....so keep an eye. I will keep my eyes open for your plate...and by the way ...what color is your Crossfire and is yours a coupe or a convertible!
