Anthony, can you give is a ETA on these. I see that my paypal account has been charged. Should I assume the antenna has been shipped?

The antenna has been shipped from Germany as of last week. This is coming straight from Tino, owner of CTD.

Says the man who's only half way across the country!! I don't expect mine to arrive until next week. Not complaing at all, just making an observation.

Thanks for putting this together in the first place Anthony. Something to look forward to in the middle of the week now, and that's always a good thing.

I've shipped USPS Priority Mail many time to the west coast, and the item is there in 1 or 2 days. It's not rare.

I just received mine and they are NOT a 1 piece design that extends. There are three different length posts that fit into the same base and top. What's up with this information!!!!!

Anthony, shouldn't you have checked into this a little more carefully since it was a big question that many people had ????

My information came straight from CTD. They were received here and shipped out immediately, prior to this group buy we had never seen them. I apologize for the misinformation. If you choose to not keep it, we will gladly refund your money.

My concern was more for the people who where looking for it to be a 1 piece design. I'm ok with it, just wasn't what I expected from your description

Well, potentially..................crap. If the shortest insert mates the cap to the base so I have a shorty all silver antenna then I'm probably OK with it but if not I would have preferred the other option instead. Will have to see when it shows up at my doorstep.

Anthony,
S**t, (Pardon, my French) but Now I have Two to Return & I didn't even get the 2nd one yet, you Never responded to my first PM asking for a Refund on the Shorter one I already have that I don't want. I hate to say this in Public, But seeing you don't answer in Private! Anthony, I'm done with you & your Company, you are Very Careless & Non-Responsive, I asked that question on here twice, before I got an answer, & then it was the Wrong Answer! (S**t!) SF

(I noticed many people said expandable, but they were just repeating the one above, I believe,
It lists 3 lengths for it {see below}, but it doesn't say or show how that is accomplished?)

Hey Anthony,
I'm in for the 3 Piece or Expandable one (Which is it BTW?)
'Made of polished aluminum. 3 diffrent length in one Set: 13, 17 and 27cm. For Crossfire Roadster only.'
Thanks!
Bill"

or answered my PMs to you weeks ago?
Did you get them?
Thanks!
Bill

BTW Did you change this statement/rule of yours?
"Once I receive the products we will arrange payment. I found that too many times ordering products from out of the country takes longer then expected. When people pay ahead of time they tend to get a little impatient.
Once they are in I will gather payment."
My Original Questions & Concerns, Noted above please Read Carefully(As it was written Very carefully), but Never Answered at all or else incorrectly.
(For the Record!) SF

I'm not refunding the first one that you purchased because you saw a newer model and wanted to exchange it. No I will not do that. I will refund the other one though.

And SilverFox, you have kind of hated on my company from the time you found out people wanted us to attend your meet. You made it so difficult to want to come with all the door prizes and possible fees that it's not worth it. I shipped the first one out to you for free. I'll refund the second one and the 2.35 it costs to ship back.

Cool Re: GROUP BUY: CTD Chrome Antennas

I'm excited to receive mine and think the 3-piece will be fine...I actually like a fixed one vs an adjustable...my preference...

It's a shame in this forum and with folks trying to help each other that we'd get so cross over $26...it's a cheap, non-ambience dinner bill...

I am grateful that someone took the initiative to offer these. IF I end up not liking it I guess I might try to get my money back...but I know for sure, at the end of the day, $26 aint enough money or loss for me to carry some hard feeling over...I might not order from that person again though -

...and I do think that it's good to report if you gained mis-information, or feel you were taken advantage of...

Guess I wish folks were gentler...life is too short

I purchased items at cost for the community. It was a product I did not carry and did not plan to carry, but a lot of people wanted it and so I purchased them. I received false information and that false information was passed onto the community, I apologize for that and will refund you based on that.

I don't have a unit in my hand to look at as I do not plan on carrying these, so I only ordered for the amount that paid. My total profits was 1.85/item, before shipping.

It was more of a gesture of friendliness and not an act to make money. It's unfortunate that people judge so soon and on one instance.

If I did not volunteer to get these antennaes for everyone then you would've ended up paying more and fighting with someone in Germany for your money back. I guess next time those people would be better off doing that.

Anthony,

I Think the Record Speaks for itself on this one!

I've Never had Any Fees & Never asked nor have I given Door Prizes, & you were a No Show! (Those are the Facts.)

I Never hated on your Company! (That's your opinion)

You were suppose to bring it to the Meet so I could see it first, but you shipped it sight unseen, after being a No Show! (You are Not a man of your word)

You Never answered my PM about returning it, all you had to say was Yes or No. (You are a Very poor businessman)

Also, I asked you point Blank 2 times, in this thread, to get an answer on if it was 3 pieces or expandable, & then you Guessed & Guessed Wrong!

This is all I'll be saying in Public or this issue, if you want to mud sling any further on this, Please PM me.

SF

FYI, This is how the GTD site describes the antenna in English: "Short rod antenna manufactured out of polished aluminum. 3 different lengths for the price of an antenna: 13, 17 and 27cm. Only suitably in the Crossfire convertible."

Somehow, the word "expandable" got interjected here in the thread and mislead everyone including me. I haven't received mine yet. But don't think I'll have a problem with just the three lengths either.
