I believe pressing lock and unlock at the same time changes the mode from 1 door unlocking to both doors unlocking.
At least that is what mine does.

Damn you mrphotoman! My dad has had two Acura TLs that do the windows/ sunroof thing. I was hoping we had something as cool/useless as that!

The reason that it is disabled when the car is off is to prevent people just reaching in and pressing the unlock button when you park with the top down. Otherwise, if you park with the top down someone can just easily reach in and press the button and disable the alarm and unlock the doors and trunk and center console. Now that would be bad

I was amazed to discover the the gas door locks when the doors are locked. And, for the record, I tried putting $2.37 in the hidden coin holder and both of my windows automatically rolled down!!!

The $2.37 must have had a Canadian coin in there somewhere or the monkeys on strike. I hope you realize that you must put $2.38 in the coin holder to get your windows back up.

I just discovered that there is a strap that is about 6 inches long with a snap on each end that runs horizontally and is located behind the passenger head rest. What's up with that? Is it only on the roadster?

I asked the same question way back and was told it was for a child car seat.

There's one more secret for you noobies; If you press the lock, unlock buttons with your right hand, and touch the tip of your nose with your left index finger, and close your eyes, your wheels will automatically be cleaned from all that brake dust like this.

LOL FP my trunk monkey doesn't look anything like that. That has to be some other kind of monkey if you get my drift. I'll bet you don't close your eyes while she's doing that.

Got any other camera angles of this procedure?

Thanks, but I don't see how that would work. If you put the passenger seat all the way forward and stood the child up behind the seat facing the back of the car maybe the strap would fit around his little neck and snap him to the back of the seat.

That strap is to loop the top teather of the car seat through to run to the anchor at the bottom rear fo the car seat. wuthout that strap, the top teather would just slip to the side of the seat..

She looks a little too big to fit in the trunk........Oh wait, I just figured it out........you have the top up and the divider pushed out of the way!

Did you at least chrome the release handle inside the trunk for her FP?

Thank God I don't have to deal with car seats. Back when my kids were little we just threw them in the back and took off. AND WE LIKED IT!

Just kidding Hangman, thanks for the explanation.
