Default Hand slots in trunk partition

I'm getting close to my three year warranty expiration, so I'm looking everything over to make sure there's nothing to be fixed. And I came across something that I had always been aware of, but not thought more about. The partition in the trunk that shields the top when it is down has two hand slots. The first is exposed when the partition is in the position to let the top come down. This hand slot has a nice plastic guard around it. When the partition is in the position that gives the max room in the trunk, a hand slot is visible that is used to pull the partition back toward the rear of the car. In my car, this hand slot does not have a plastic guard around it. I need some feedback from other owners on whether or not their cars are the same as mine. If there is supposed to be a plastic guard, I'll get it fixed under warranty. Thanks!

My '05 SRT6 is like yours - with just the one plastic oval.

Just one on mine too. Probably because the one that has the grommet is the handled that takes the most wear.
