He certainly should be home from vacation and a few other matters he was going to take care of.
Although if you see his last log in date to be every so often it's only because he trusted me with his password in order for me to be able to update the list of members attending the dragon meet this fall.
I don't believe Bill has actually logged in himself now for several months.
I have called his home and cell numbers and left messages several times and have had no response back.
We used to talk almost everyday.
I to hope I reach him soon.

Gary

Bill is most certainly missed.

I'm sure there is more to it than that little dust up over his Sig. But it didn't help.

I hope the inconsiderate clowns who did it feel real proud of themselves. We have yet to hear an apology. Perhaps after they pooled their intelligences, they still didn't have enough.

This is really not the place for that kind of BS but even the best organizations have *ssholes.

Sorry for the rant Gary. Just kinda miss Bill's contributions.

Valk has been doing a great job filling in for Bill, but I sure would like to hear from him again. He has given more than just his time to organizing the GTG's for the Dragon, his upbeat attitude is missed by everyone that knows him.

I for one don't forget. Or forgive.

Haha you know I thought about that after it was posted, and was thinking about changing the thought so it would be thought of as a current thought and not a past-tense thought, but I figured everyone would grab what I meant. Or currently mean, or will intend to mean.

Ditto Franc, I wondered about where Silver Fox was also. Please keep us informed Gary. I think that he had enough friends here he wouldn't allow a few rude punks run him off. If we have members who are on this forum who don't know how to behave we should just put them on our collective ignore lists and eventually they will go away. I'm not talking about intelligent debates or differences of opinion, I'm talking about being inconsiderate, rude, and name calling.

I don't think rude folks were the root of why he has withdrawn although it was a factor.
He told me that he found himself consuming all his time at the computer while his wife sat alone reading a book and he felt that at his age he needed to spend all his time with his beloved wife. He didn't want to pass on sitting on his computer on the Crossfire forum.

I just hope he is OK but have been unable to contact him by phone , home email or of course this forum.

I spoke to Bill a few days ago via email so he is still around somewhere. Hopefully he'll be back soon to chime in.

Silver Fox has made a good point, we have to moderate our time on the forum and not ignore family, but he went to zero time. There must be a happy medium. We want him back.

There are very few things in life more important than a car, even a Crossfire.

But among them, I would guess, would have to be the wife and family.

Hey guys, you don't suppose old Bill got the hot tongue and cold shoulder treatment from the Mrs. do you. It's happened to me. You know the bit, "How much longer are you going to be on that stupid Crossfire Forum anyway, that's all you do any more."

Hey oledoc2u, was that you I honked at in Lagrange today? I passed a house with a Black Roadster in the drive on the way back from lake Wawasee.
