Wow! Never thought I'd be sleepless over a car, but did NOT sleep Friday night - picked up my 2005 roadster Saturday Morning (8/16)! Yikes - what a car! It's my mid-life crisis car! Hubby has his 2000 Vette, and now I have my baby! Woohoo! What a blast!

I just got a SRT-6 and I had the sleep depravation syndrome too. I never liked roadsters until I saw the Crossfire roadster. Wow. Greatest looking car on the planet.

Welcome to the midlifecrisisforums.org. Or toysforgramps.com or how about, IFINALLYLEARNEDHOWTOHAVEFUN.ORG!

Welcome to the forum! Start looking now for the cleaning products as you will use a lot of them. It is an addiction.

You don't say? MLC lady, you are going to research the web for the best cleaning products money can buy, order them if you can't find them locally. Chew some nails waiting for them to arrive. Curse UPS or who ever is shipping the supplies too slowly, and dream about what the car will look like after your loving touch with the best products of earthly origin. You will refuse to post a picture until your baby is perfect. Been there, done that. The tears...oh the tears. Sniff. How I envy your first week.

Just came back from ANOTHER ride! Yow! I do believe I'll be addicted! Think I'll be doing a trip to the spa - for both of us - my baby and me!

There is no such thing as a " mid-life crisis" MLC Lady. Only "later life indulgences." Welcome to the forum. I love my 2005 roadster also.

It could be called an altlernaive lifestyle choice instead of what my wife terms retarded maturity when I push the pedal down

Congrats MLC Lady.......there is something about these cars that is so compelling ! They are compelling to drive, compelling to be seen in, compelling to stare at.
Cool to drive by storefronts and check the profile of your Crossfire as you spot your reflection in the windows.
I bought my 2004, Alabaster White, Coupe here in Toledo in April 2008 with only 9000 miles on it. Been on a few long trips....Chicago, Buffalo & South Western Ontario.
I love the way Corvette owners check you out.......
Have fun with your new baby. Jules

Congratulations on your new ride. The giddy feeling you get when driving it topless is just one of the benefits of owning a Crossfire.

I feel the same way about my car and I've had it for a year now. Mine must be a mid-life crisis car too, since I turned 50 this year. I guess technically I am in a mid-life plus 10 crisis. Lol.
