There are no factory hardtops made for the X-fire. I doubt you could even find a fabricator who can do it since there would have to be more attachment points for it than the three there are for the convertible top (two on the windshield header, one on the rear deck).

 

Might I ask why you purchased a roadster?

 

From reliable sources, as part of their restructuring plan rolled out on 02/17/09, and if they get the next bail-out wad of $$ from obama, Chrylser will include a retractable xfire hardtop in model year 2011.

 

Ahhhhhhh, you could trade your roadster in on a coupe or keep the roadster, buy a coupe and have the best of both worlds !!!

I was under the impression the last Crossfire was made in 2007 and rolled out in 2008. There will not be a model 2011...

The dates look similar, on 12-18-2007 the last Crossfire rolled off the line at Karmann. Sorry there will be no retractable roof 2011 Crossfire.

 

Don't care about the retractable roof, but a second cup holder on the console would be handy, esp two that could hold Big Gulps.

In answering your question I can only say I could understand the desire to have an interchangeable hard/soft top; however I don't know that I would use it. I could only suggest you seek out a California shop that specializes in mods like GAS.


You might even consider MTV's "Pimp My Ride"


Let us know if you get it done, it would be interesting to see and I'm sure there are some here who would consider doing the same even if they won't come out and support the notion. Good luck.

Might you be referring to the new Sebring which, unfortunatly, has some visual similarities of the Crossfire?

Isn't it available with a retractable hard top?
