Nightrider is a bleeding heart liberal that likes guns and motorcycles, go figure. That spot in NH sounds just like my cup of tea. We are on the same page politics wise. As i said nightrider (Bruce) is far left. FARRRRRRR Left!!! He enjoys sheep too.

Mine is my daily driver except with inclement/severe weather; I've got a beater truck for those days.
Same with me, in the winter I drive a beat up 91 Amigo with a hard top that comes off. I use that in the summer when it's real hot and the Crossfire is being spit polished for a show!

Ya know it really doesn't matter what these cars are gonna be worth in the years to come....I get more grins per mile than any other car I've ever owned or had the oppurtunity to ride in. That includes Vette's, Porches, Mustangs, MoPar Muscle !
I've had more pleasure driving this lil jewel than......well...... maybe not that...... but it's been...Fun !

In remembering some of the cars that I have owned and loved, I'd be hard pressed to think of one that's as much fun as my Crossfire Coupe. There was this lovely Austin- Healey MK II of 1963 vintage that made my life pretty nice at the time. It was red with a sparse black leather interior, a mirror on a rail in the center of the windshield and wire wheels, A straight 6 engine with three 2" SU carbs that were perfectly tuned with an exhaust note that was magnificent and a switch on the dash for OVERDRIVE. I kicked a lot of butt with that car and today it would be worth $60,000 to $75,000 as it was, condition wise, when I sold it. I paid $450 for it and got a $100 taken off the price for my trade of a 1960 MG 1100 sedan. Yep, I don't know if the Crossfire will ever reach that status but it could. All I can tell you is that I love my car and everything about it except the cup holder.........if I could sellit and make a profit, I'd buy a roadster. That's all I'd change.
Rick

Will these cars become classics? Who knows.
My guess is that they will be in the same boat as Studebakers and other non-mainstream cars.
When I bought mine Dec06/Jan07, I did not think the values would go down much more. Boy was I wrong.

I totally agree!
I drive a hundred miles a day and this car loves to fly at highway speeds if you have to drive a lot why not be happy doing it!

Ok, did it yesterday...turned in my beloved 04 coupe with 42 K miles for an 05 Roadster with 7300 miles. I think I have a new beloved....guess I am fickle!

I have an 04 Coup 6spd (Silver Blue) with 18k and just bought a 07 Roadster 6spd (Aero Blue) with 9k. The 04 will be my wife's summer car and the 07 my summer car. I love the car because you don't see one at every stop sign and everyone notices them. In the last 2 summers I have seen 3 other Crossfires on the road in central Minnesota. I would like to find a few other owners in my area but I don't want to see everyone and their brother driving them. I like the uniqueness and love the fun of driving. Invest in the stock market if you have the nerve, buy and drive your Crossfire because it's the right thing to do.

Yes,
The Crossfire is a great value and in my opinion a great looking machine. It will be a collector's car but enjoy it now! The SRT will probably hit the Pebble Beach Concours sooner than the Limited but they all are headed there! Just don't know in how many years from now!

You are absolutely correct. It's an investment in happiness. I have a roadster and it's great.
I had the opportunity to ride over to Fontana Villiage over the weekend. It won't open until April, but I did go by Deals Gap. That Dragon's Tail is just crazy. I can't figure out why the police let those people go down that thing like they do.

It may not make it to classic before I do but my SRT is going where I go as long as I can still get "out" of it.

I'm buying one because I LOVE them and I think it will be a classic one day. I'm only 20 years old, so 15-20 years from now I'll still be enjoying it!

Plus, I drive very little at the moment. Probably under 5K miles a year. It will be my only car, but, in a couple years I'll get another car if I need to drive more. I'll just put the miles on that and keep my Crossfire for the weekends
