Default Are we all Juvenile

I'm 47 years young and i was on my way to work this morning when i spotted a porsche turbo in front of me. i sped up to check it out (envy). when i got next to it, i paced it so i could look. the guy kicks it slightly and of course me with my na xfire kick it too. now i know i have no way in $$^$% to really race this guy but i still kick it and stay with him up to 80 when we both stopped accelerating. why oh why do we do this????

You shouldn't own a Crossfire if you don't! The only difference between juvenile and adult is the price of our toys.

Everyone seems to feel like the Crossfire doesn't have enough power... some even blame lack of power to be the cause of slow sales. I don't think our cars are that slow. 215 horses is a lot for a small car. And honestly, how much more kick would an extra 50 horses get you? It is pretty darn close.

I readily admit to being a 64 year old boy. It's probably why I get along so well with my grandkids. Around here the ones who normally seem to want to test the X-fire are trhe Mustang owners. There's a lot of them on the road here. Sure is fun.

I've been telling my kids for years "I'm the biggest kid in this family"

I used to have a shirt with crayola type print that said "I don't want to grow up" and that sums us up nicely.

Hmmm. It is so nice to have that responsive power when you need it. I am a woman of 53 and I just cut most of my hair off so I could drive with the top down...fast! I obey the speed limits in town but once or twice I have enjoyed the ability to accelerate quickly!

I had two white chevy pickups try to race me today on two separate times. What the H*ll?

They had no idea what they were up against.

One called mine a "girly car" at the light and gunned away. So I took the bait and put him well behind me on the entrance ramp. He finally caught up with me and went around doing about 90 MPH ( I shut down at 65). He cut me off sharply and then, about a half mile later, was pulled over by the law.

I assume he was p!ssed. I was polite and waved as I went by.

"Growing old is manditory. Growing up is not!"

BTW Thanks Eurocharged!

Most of us have the best of both worlds - we got our toys at a great price!
