Thanks for the welcome everyone!! One question I do have is what is the deal with having to get out and push something around in the trunk to put the top down? Do you have to do it everytime? That could get old pretty quick.

Well, you shouldn't have to do it everytime, but that divider needs to rest in that "hook" to activate the safety switch. If you have a lot of stuff in the trunk, it can bump that divider out of that "hooked" area which would then deactivate the safety switch.

Oh, thanks. I haven't even seen in person the car I'm getting. My uncle has a Chrysler dealership in Indiana and after I researched it, I asked him to keep a look out for one. He found one, checked it out, says it's in better than average condition so I bought it. Good thing I trust him!!! My folks are up there now and are gonna drive it back for me. Saves me a flight, 16 hour drive, and I don't have to miss work. I am really excited!! (if I promise to put 2.37 in the secret change area will the monkey make it Tuesday tomorrow?)

Billy,
You may trust your uncle, however, I think your parents are going to take a joy ride in your car. You may not see your car for a month. I've always thought the Route 66 run might be fun in an X-Fire!
Congrats on the new ride.

Welcome! I think you should know that you ought to take Wednesday off if the weather is nice so you can drive the car , otherwise(if your even remotley like me...a car nut) you'll be too preoccupied to be much use at work.

A few things you should know:

1. Everyone will be jealous ... some will try to put your baby down to mask that jealousy, but we know what is going on.

2. You are a rolling request to be pulled over in a yellow roadster, so watch it. I've actually seen a cop clock me when I was going 5 under the speed limit!

3. Get ready to fend off lots of requests to borrow your car. I've only gotten about 100. I did let my mom drive it once .... I don't even like to let people RIDE in it.

4. She handles WAY better than you could ever imagine. Don't believe me, hit the Dragon in the fall - made me a believer!

5. Oh yeah ... last & MOST important thing .... YELLOW XF'S ARE THE BEST!!!

Kim,

No way! He was just checking you out looking for a reason to stop you to talk to you. You don't really expect us to believe that you do 5 under do you?

You need to delegate in October and show up at the Dragon. Work kept me away in the Spring so if we don't get more Yellow Roadsters to go we will just be keeping the status quo with me going and you staying home...

Stay safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)
