Default Back from the Gap !

I went out to the Hill ''US129 The Dragon" to check out some old bikes that are in for week at the resort. It's rained here on and off for the last two weeks and the road is a mess from the storms that moved in. I'm rather glad I didn't ride a bike to be honest. Even tho I didn't get in a good run because of said road conditions it was still a great day, rain, nasty road and all. And i'm glad to report that the top has kept me dry ! lol Nevertheless, I have really enjoy this car.

Sorry to hear the road and conditions were not great. We had a blast there a little over a month ago.

It will clear up soon.................I hope ! A little rain is always good for the road, but it's really been a wet this last two weeks.

Probably wet until the end of the week; lots of weather coming up from the gulf.

Maybe we should get together a small group for Dragon slaying.
You and HouDoo are close, I'm 1 1/2 hrs away, and I'm sure we could get a few more.

There is a pretty strong Carolinas and Georgia group. Current plans include Chimney Rock this Saturday.

We should do that sometime. BCSD and the THP have been thick up there so one will really need to behave themselves.

On solo runs, I often double back to loose slow movers or to avoid a radar enforcement position.
(I didn't know whether to laugh or cry last fall when I saw a LEO standing next to KillBoy Photograpgy taking "pictures" of the same cars.)

Darryl Cannon (killboy.com) And Zee (zeefoto.com) get to see some of the wildest things just for the fact that they are up there more than i'am. It is and will always be my second home and where I get together with friends and my cutomers. I went up this past Sunday in the Crossfire. Perfect weather ! Drove straight to the Deals Gap resort to talk with a good friend of mine ''Ben Stienburg'' about racing our fiddies next Saturday. We race in the parking lot after the store shuts down for the night. Anyway, my day was cut short putting oil dry down on the road form a motorcycle crash. It went through both lanes ! Both rider and passenger are ok. By the time we had that cleaned up and safe again it was time for me to go do the Mothers Day Thing.
