Goodbye :(
Well, I know i've not been a regular on here for a while... but still wanted to drop by and say "bye"...
My wife and I are having a kid in a couple months and it just didnt seem that the Shiraz Roadster made sense anymore... so now I have a 2007 Camry SE... traded in my car today to Charles Maund in Austin (in case someone wants a deal on one... I dont think they liked it much based on how much they gave me).
Anyhoo - hope y'all have fun in your cars! Can't wait to see some more of you on the road soon.
I'll waive.
I uploaded my goodbye pic from right before I left my old baby.

But sorry, I don't waive at people driving faster cars.
Good Luck

Y'all are great, thanks for the nice goodbyes! The dealer gave me $12k - the car only has 18k miles - but because of the hail storm last month it was worth a bit less than if it were cherry... according to the insurance co, the repairs would have been $991 (and I have a $1000 deductible).
Anyways! cya all!

I worked out a deal with my future wife. I get to keep the car but when we have babies they are not allowed in it. I promised I would get a child friendly car but she is not forcing me to get rid of the crossfire.

Blackcrossfire07, maybe you should get that in a signed word document. When her nesting instints kick in as soon as pregnancy is confirmed all bets are off.
Shirazroadster, congrats to you and your wife. Good luck and enjoy the blessing you are about to experience.

Congrats on your news! Hate that you're getting rid of your roadster though.
We're expecting our first in September and everyone asks if we're getting rid of our roadster.... NO WAY! wife exclaims.

Good luck in your future.
If the bug bites you again don't wait to long they may turn in to a high priced collectable.
Plus maybe next time around you can move up to the SRT.
Nice to have met you.

Oh come on you and I both know you could use a little "tweeking" here and there.
I was hoping there may still be a chance for you.

My fiance seems cool so far, we'll see though.
One of our gifted forum members should fabricate something to put a car seat in the trunk, lol.

I fastened the car seat to the package shelf just between the drivers and passenger seat. It worked out great until the summer of 88 when my Daughter outgrew her car seat.
But I didn't have the "Great Wall of Mercedes" to contend with.

I guarantee in 16 years your teenage PITA (the soon-to-be bundle of joy) will approach you with a great idea -- wouldn't it be wonderful to have a convertible sports car in the family. And you will resist the impulse to strangle it....barely.
