2 Year Anniversary/Good Bye...
It was two years ago this month I bought my new roadster. Back then I was so happy I never thought there would be a day I would ever give her up. However, given the shaky status of Chrysler, the value of its vehicles continuing to fall and the recent closure of my local dealer I decided it was the right time for me to trade in my Roadster. I must say it was a truly sad day to see her go. I want to thank all the members on this forum who provided such great advice and information. I wish you all continued joy as you ride around in one of the finest cars Chrysler has ever produced.
Thanks,
Thanks,

What are you trading her in for?
Sorry to see you go. Looking at your sig, I don't understand why you would get rid of the Crossfire and not the '99 Dodge Neon.

I'm sure some may be wondering what I got for my Crossfire. The MB Dealer originally offered me $8,000 for my flawless Roadster which only had 27k miles on it. After much back and forth I ended up getting $14,000.

I am fortunate the I have a local mechanic with 30 years experience for Chrysler that has his own garage with a lift!!! He is my saving grace!!!! There are mechanics out there ...not sure I would give up my Crossfires just because the dealers are closing.... I never take my car to the dealer anyway...they are a rip off. I too am have the car anxiety in that it is very very hard for me to give up my 97 Mustang GT Convertible... I will miss her.
