Re: roadster rear window stick-up
There is a Chrysler recall on the convertible tops. I had mine replaced free by Huffines Chrysler in Lewisville Texas about 3 years ago after my window fell out. I would have to dig back into my paperwork to get the recall info. Not all dealers are aware of this so you'll have to have the recall letter. I'll try to find it and post it on here.

Re: roadster rear window stick-up
I believe that was only good for 10 years and in certain states. Sounds like you just made the cutoff.

Yes, I think you are correct. Thanks for responding.

Re: roadster rear window stick-up
My 2005 roadster has lived in Maine almost its entire life and my rear window delaminated from the top, so that may throw the heat and humidity theory into question.
About four years ago the glass delaminated along the bottom on the driver’s side. Instead of taking the glass completely out, I used the 3M Window Weld and did a partial repair only to that area. A couple months later the rest of the bottom came lose and I did the same. The original repair is still in great shape, but now the factory seal on the sides and top of the class are failing so I’m going to do the rest of the window. The Window Weld worked great and is massively less expensive than a new top. |

:) I know many are locked up in survival mode, but I don't think BAS would trade a top for rice! LOL!!! :) . |
