Thumbs up New Member from French Canada

Hi, new guy here. Just got a 2005 Roadster Limited, yellow, with the vanilla and slate interior, Nav and all the goodies, 38000km.(23,600 miles).
Just joined the forum and sent in my membership request.
Already got my Xfire logos from Andrew, thank you, very nice.
Hoping to contribute in any way possible. Have observed this forum as a guest and can't believe the help that is available.
Really happy to be part of the family. Anyone else from Quebec on this forum would be glad to hear from you.
thks
Pierre

Welcome to the forum, Pierre. Does your XF have km instead of miles as the primary measure on the speedo?

Yes , this is a Canadian spec vehicule, day time running lights etc.
Really a head turner. Only seen 1 other around here, blue convertible.
When I stop at a traffic light, with the top down, I usually hear, ''what is that??'.

NICE: p

Welcome to the Best Lil XFire Site on the Net and congrats on your new baby ! Be very careful this place is nearly as addicting as that car you drive.

Hey Pierre from French Canada;

This is Cathie from French/English Canada or the nation's capital, Ottawa.

Where are you? We have a member (Jacques) who has a yellow Crossfire and he lives in Ottawa too.

Bienvenue!
Cathie

Is there any place in Canada that we can contact to mod. our crossfires. Nothing against the U.S. but customs are just waiting for us here.

If you can convince someone to watch the kids if necessary and can swing the Crossfires Across America (not the U.S., but America), then you can get it tuned down here next year. We have a few coming down

For our US friends I would like to explain that there is only one Canada, not two (English and French). Its a long story.

LOL we know that, it's not much different than what many consider to be multiple US's...but we go by East, West, North, and South.....

But let's not go there, we're all XF owners and that's what matters on this forum.

First of all , thanks for the many welcomes, very heartwarming. Second, kids are all gone now so daddy can have his (her) toy. Would love to attend but as the Provincial Director of a Slopitch Association that is in the middle of my busiest time.
As far as ''her'' using the car all the time, might have to go the route of getting ''mine''.
That would mean 4 cars in the yard. Might as well open a dealership.
2 summer and 2 winter cars. Give the neighbours more to talk about.

Choice, is a little more difficult here and importing means no warranty.
Will continue to check here and on Google for ''things'' for the Xfire and Ebay.ca as well.

BTW no politics from me, life is too short.
This is a great place . Hope to be here for a while.
