Water Leak - behind glove box
Just bought my 05 roadster middle of this August - love it. We had about 4 inches of rain this week. Leaving work, I turned out of the parking lot and water was pouring down into the passenger side, coming from behind the glove box. Checked under the hood, no obvious place where water could have been pooling - no leaves or anything causing a blockage. Anyone had this problem before?
Jim,
Thanks for the reply. I drive the car everyday - 160 miles round trip to the office and back. Don't have a garage, no option to keep it out of the rain.
Looked under the hood, looks like I can take off the wipers and then that cowling to see if there somewhere the water is getting in. Next Saturday's project.

Read this as well.

Just a hint, you have a roadster but all you questions do not have to be in the roadster forum. Many people will not read it as this forum is for roadster specific questions all others are posted in the coupe forum, or the specific forum that covers that topic. Read the forum headings and the small print.
Search first and then ask questions as so many answers have been made to the same old questions.
Last but not least;
Welcome to the forum.

This may help as well, there is a drain under the cowl.

Onehundred80,
Thanks for the links - the one you listed was right on target. I am rather new to the forum and still finding my way around the forum's features.

Was your little lecture really necessary?

Just trying to get the guy off on the right foot. Why wait for days for the right answer when it is a click away? Makes sense to me. Sometimes people do not bother to answer when they know it is an old question, there are a lot of unanswered questions out there for this very reason.
