Not too bad I suppose!
You pay $1.50 for 97 octane????

That is amazing, truly amazing.

Does anyone else think we should start drilling here, in the US, where some of the largest oil reserves are right under our feet? Anyone else want super cheap, ultra premium fuel for $1-$2 a gallon?

I will stop now

I dont think its the fact that its drilled in the UAE, I think its the fact that its Tax Free here! I am sure if you paid 0% tax on fuel it would be nearly as cheap...

But thats the reason all the cars here are Gas Guzzlers. the smallest engine of any car i've know is a 2.0 litre and most are 4 litre plus. with my mates car being a 6.1litre Hemi and my vette was a 7.0litre but when it only costs $20 to fill the tank up who cares!

We pay around $4.00 on average per gallon for 93 Octane (our highest normal grade) here in the Chicago suburbs.

i paid 24k and 23k out the door. considering original sticker and the fact they were both chrysler dealer new purchases, i thought those were fair prices (both very much in line with kbb). i come from a collector standpoint. these are special interest cars and in order to potentially make money on them in the future, it behooves me to keep them stock/low miles. i love taking them out, though. my daily driver is an '06 4runner so the srt6s are a real treat.

Dont you hate that people think your from Dubai and/or your country is Dubai lol

It's the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and our friend lives in the capital Abu Dhabi, Dubai is just the largest city in the country.

Lovely car by the way!

I think you may have the COMBO deal of the century....$47K for 2 new SRT6s.....even better than my $40K combo for 2 new Limiteds

Yep I live in and Work in Abu Dhabi, but its easier sometime to just say Dubai. But Abu Dhabi is the biggest Emirate just most of it is still desert. with Dubai having the most people living there - well it did until the recession, dont know if that is still the case.

But yeah the UAE is a great place.

By the way not much longer now to wait to pick up my new toy... I pick her up Tuesday (fingers crossed)

How does the finish hold up in the sandstorms?

If you get to roll down the road to Al Ain Mall, there are a couple of richer Emiratis who have heavily customised coupes. One's Halloween colours, the other's white with a custom body kit, debadged with the Crossfire logo moved to the glove box. It also has the most hideous velour kidney bean red dash cover. Used to have pix of both on my mobile til it crashed and I had to wipe its memory.

Well I picked my car up two days ago and I'm loving it

Its great to drive and get so much attention... I just need the weekend to come around (my weekend is Friday out here) and I am going to go for a drive over to Oman where there are some of the best mountain roads in the world.

I will try and take lots of pics and show you all next week!

If you want a real test of your car's abilities, the road up to Jebel Hafeet should suffice

Thanks mate, I have driven that road a few times before and it is amazing. There is a gorgeous hotel on the top (but bloody expensive).
So do you live in the UAE?
