Default Luggage size

Does anyone know if a suitcase 28 x 18 x 11 will fit in the trunk of a roadster? I am picking up a friend at the airport and would be upset if it didn't fit. I checked old posts on this sight but could not find the answer. I tried a 29 x 20 x 11 and it was very close but no cigar. Thanks

You can always bring an extra bag (duffle bag, trash bag)) & empty some of it out if it's too fat. I got my daughter's overstuffed suitcase stuck in my trunk until a man helped me get it out.

Don't put the top down and unlock the divider and your trunk is as big as the coupe. That means you could put a dead body back there.

Yeah, but there's hardly any room left over for the shovel...

Well so far my solution would be put contents of suitcase in plastic bag and throw away suitcase or put my friend in trunk and suitcase in front seat. Thanks for the sugestions I think I might go get a suit case that size and try it. I will let you know if it fits.

I think the problem is going to be caused by the fact that the trunk opening may not be wide enough to get the luggage in. I know I just put in a much smaller bag the other day and it just barely fit.

Thanks for the info. I better call and tell him to bring a smaller bag.

It would have to be a dead body because, conveniently, the roadster is equipped with that handy emergency release for any live bodies that are stuffed in there!

I just measured the Crossfire rolling bag and it is 24x15wx10d. That's unexpanded. It's a very tight fit even with the top up due to the width (front to back) of the trunk opening. I'd find a new friend with a duffle style carry on, unless this one is real cute.

Or put the top down and the bag on their lap.
