Default Roadster deck lid

I just purchased a 2005 Roadster. The deck lid will not open with the top down. Is this normal? If not, how to correct?

No, it's not normal, and I did have it happen to me once. After that, while I had my trunklid liner down to fix leaks around my SRT6 spoiler, I followed Pizzaguy's recommendation and ditched the emergency trunklid release mechanism.

Perhaps that is what is causing your problem. I haven't had this problem return since I removed mine. Another possibility is an air line leak as the power lock systems in Crossfires are pneumatically controlled.

The deck lid healed itself, and works now. Thanks for the good suggestions.
