It's been awhile since I visited the forum. I live in Mississauga, Ontario - West of Toronto. I suppose you might be up here already, but for what its worth....
I owned a 2004 coupe for 4 years and now drive a 2006 convertible, always year round. I have my own business, so making my own appointments helps, because clients don't expect to see you if the weather/roads are poor, so I am lucky that way. I purchased my 2006 convertible in Pennsylvania and brought it up. Did get the auto light package put on and also the front/rear bumper shock absorption needed upgrading to meet a higher impact rating here.
Just went to my small (boutique) garage, they bought the parts & installed.
From memory around 1500.00 - otherwise I couldn't licence up here. Not sure about the fact you already were a resident of states, owned the car and just moving with it. Maybe just the headlights in your situation. Good luck and happy driving. I've never been in a situation all these winters, and yes you need to watch out for the 'other guy' or the cowboy SUV's.
Cheers!

FYI - No longer need the bumpers changed for importing into Canada, just the DRL's which is an easy wire jump to the fogs from any fuse that comes on with ignition. And stupid front plate here in Ontario.

Thanks for the FYI Steve,

Cheers!
