Default Leather seat color coming off

I have a 2005 crossfire w/ two tone gray leather seats. I have noticed that the driver seat on the left side bolster, the color is coming off. There is only 16000 mi. on the car. Has anyone had this problem and if so what has the dealer done under and past warranty.

I don't have this problem on my roadster. But I am very careful to plant my butt in the center of the seat and swivel in. If you slide across the left bolster, it is likely to wear and eventually it will even tear (I had that problem in my A6).

I would expect some dealerships to laugh, maybe not to your face, but when you are gone.

Unfortunately that is just wear and tear - you're lightly abrading the material every time you slide in and out (or over and across, as the case may be) the side bolsters of the seats. Seats with a totally flat back don't have this issue since you don't rub over them every time you get in and out.

I'm with Goldwing on this - yeah, it sounds a bit weird to say I'm picky about how I get in and out of the car, but it makes all the difference in the world. My car has 13,000 miles on it, mostly short trips really (meaning a lot of ingress and egress) and the seats look brand new.
