Default Clutch Bucks During Acceleration Between 1st And 2nd

Trying to sell my 05 Limited Roadster.....Had a person to come take it for a test drive...upon there return they told me they didn't want the car beacuse the cluch bucks between 1st and 2nd during high performance take-offs....

Is anyone having this problem or is it just me...wonder if there was any recalls on this item?

May have been their shifting/clutch ooperation. Did you not go on the test drive with them? Have you ever experienced this issue yourself?.
Maybe just a TEST PILOT's reason not to buy it

Every manual tranny car I've ever driven seems different, but I guess that's no surprise. I have an '05 Coupe. When shifting into second, I always have to make sure I push the clutch in before letting off the gas pedal, not at the same time, or the car sort of bucks. Maybe it's just me. These are no high performance take-offs, just nice and slow. I'm certainly no expert driver.

I have a problem with that statement....I could see the clutch slipping....they don't buck...drivers buck.....is the clutch not engauging? You are the seller, any problems with you driving it? Need more info on this one...

I have had similar experiences, as the car is jerking forward your foot does not keep the same extent of depression on the clutch as you tend to go back in the seat, this appears to start a chain reaction of jerks which only ceases when you fully engage the clutch or disengage it entirely.
It's basically the learners jerking attempt at clutch release.
Poor or broken engine mounts are also liable to make this happen as well.

I know how to shift and it's either in the Transmission or cluch. It's almost like it drops out of gear for a second or to while going from first to second...even slow acceleration it will happen sometimes...

It does go out of gear when you go from first to second, this statement does not match your first one somehow. I know things like this are hard to describe but .... something is missing.

If I recall, I believe there was a TSB on the tranny/clutch on going from 1st to 2nd.

If I get a chance I'll try and locate.

(It's xMas eve and I got a ton of relatives decending on my place, so I'm going off the air...lol)...

Ok, so it is "slipping" if it isn't engauged...broken spring on the clutch, which could cause it to chatter, or maybe something else...but either way, it will be hard to sell unless you fix it...

Here is the TSB I mentioned above:

SB_21_001_05 ~ Manual Trans - Gear Sound When Shifting

All of the TSB's can be found here in PDF format:

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ollection.html

There are a few other tranny related TSB's but they don't seem relevent...
