Default Pictures of our car

All,

It is unmodified, except for 74K miles, and looks like every other black roadster, but thought I'd try putting pictures in the gallery and it worked. It was driven from South of Warner Robins to Atlanta, then home to Mississippi, so one photo is not too flattering, but washing will have to wait until the weather is more to my liking.

Michael (and Cathy, who will eventually claim it as hers)

Very nice!

And before you ask-yes, you can take apart the fog light housings and remove the little cap the fell off on the drivers' side.

And leave it off.

ZERACER, Maxcichon,

Thanks for the comments. And Max, thanks for the info on the lights. Honestly, I'm still tryiing to make the transition from 6V positive ground. Both sides are the same, and I just assumed it was as they should be, probably for entertainment. I'll get them both squared away now that I know.

I like your choice, I have an 2006 LTD roadster, black with about 8600 miles. She gets treated like a queen. Love that car, you guys will love your too. The longer you have it and every time you get to take her out, you will smile.

I have to say Dave, I am now on my fourth month of having my roadster sitting in the garage waiting out this miserable winter and it is getting real hard. LOL. Remember, I bought it just before the snow started flying, so I got to drive it very little. Am I whining?

You will really love it when you do get to drive it, mine makes me grinn everytime. My wife laughs at me, she says I'm just like every little boy, playing with cars in the dirt. I'm glad it makes her laugh.

6 VDC positive?

OK, I'll bite! What was it?

I was just pulling your chain. Beautiful choice!

I appreciate the feedback. I am just like a kid with it. Have used the bad weather to tinker with the things it needs - filters and wiper blades and such. Bought six plugs; then six more.

Max - 55 DeSoto Fireflite - last year Chrysler used 6V positive ground. I think the Crossfire will fit in the trunk. I've tried to avoid anything without tubes in the radio, but I was hooked on the Crossfire before I had any hope of owning one.

I would love to have an old 55, they were a really stout car, a stand out in the crowd.

Just saw the post and it was my first question.
But somebody beat me to it.

6 Volt positive ground, I have tht .
On my 1937 9N ford tractor. Puppy still runs like a deere.
Oops

Old redbelly Ford tractors are seldom seen at the County Fair tractor shows. 'CAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE STILL WORKING FOR A LIVIN'!

Do you still have the old Desoto? You should keep it.
When the EMP hits from the December 21, 2012 solar flares, that car will still start. Sumtin to tink 'bout.

Franc,

Still have the DeSoto, complete, but it's in really sad shape. Probably worth more than the $200 I gave for it when it was still drivable. It was supposed to be done for my older daughter to drive. She had to settle for a 67 Barracuda.

Am slowing working on a shop with enough room for a few cars and a paint booth. DeSoto will look good in creme and coral.

The EMP will have little effect at my house.
