Default another one bites the dust!

Chrysler : Crossfire - eBay (item 170615658333 end time Mar-17-11 10:24:28 PDT)

What a shame, how many were built in 2008?

Well, the interior looks nice.

I think the number was around 2000 or so.

I do not think this car was bumped in a car lot or parking lot. Just too much metal damage there for those low speed 'bumps'. Sounds fishy to me!

It isn't a 2008 either. The glove box should different due to new airbags in the lower dash. I believe the 07's and 08's had the shorter glove box.

Not many and maybe none at all. Chrysler had quite a few sitting around in Europe & at the docks here in USA due to poor sales. I know for certain that Chrysler paid Uncle Sam some big bucks to change the VIN's on 2007 models to 2008 numbering sequence & market as 2008 cars. By this time in the model cycle, changes were essentally non-existent between 07's & 08's.

That's correct. This shows up in the VIN number during 2007 & 2008 model years. My 2007 has the shorter glove box door and the VIN reflects the airbag design change. But the build sequence number on this salvage XFire is 501 after mine. Very Interesting!! Probably another XFire with the VIN changed upon payment to the Feds.

I think the car was hit and pushed into another car. But very, very hard. That would explain the non deployed airbag. No one was in the car when it was hit. This car is in bad shape, gonna be pretty expensive to fix. It's too bad, pretty car.

I agree with Rush, it would be way over the top to get this into any shape worth having, it was hit way too hard. Good parts car though, ecu's, seats etc. the whole motor looks fine, and I assume the tranny would be fine also.
