Default Delivered our first roadster

.. and the trade in was a gem.

A gentleman traded in his 1988 560SL on a new roadster. This car has 55000 original miles, and was obviously a weekend driver. If I only had a little play money to buy this gem...

Nice to know a few more luxury brand owners are begining to steer our way. This is becoming more and more apparent with the new 300c. Its interesting to see these BMW 7-series and Lexus (lexi?) coming in as trades for the 300c.

That's good to know. However, I have never been real big fan of Chrysler products. I grew up with a father who worked for GM. I was programed to believe that GM was the only way to go. I know better these days and have in the past owned a Mazda, Isuzu and a Hyundia along with a GMC pickup. Never in all this time have I been remotely interested in Chyrsler. That is until the Crossfire came along. This car has changed my opinion of this company and I can only feel that the addition of Diamler to the picture is going to mean that Chrysler will continue to get better and better. So it 's not just the BMW and Lexus buyers who are taking notice of this car, but the old diehard GM and Ford buyers as well. By the way where are you located. It would be nice to know a Crossfire specialist when my Roadster gets here

I would love to work on your vehicle when you need me too...

But Florida is a very long drive!

PS- just found out today- The owner of the 560SL that was traded in was offered 1,000.00 more for the car at a Nissan dealer (they were looking at the conv. 350). They still opted for the Crossfire.

That's a bummer. I guess I'll have to trust the guys at my dealership to take good care of my car. Also, those folks who choose the Crossfire over the 350Z made the right choice. Please keep your fellow forum members updated on any information you may get on the crossifire. I think someone with your knowledge will be an invaluble asset to all of us. Maybe you could become a moderator on the Technical site if you are not already.

I'm not trading in a Mercedes or a BMW, but I am trading in a 2001 Sebring Limited convertible in showroom condition with less than 8,000 miles on it. I'm sure it won't stay in the showroom long (if he doesn't have a buyer interested already).
This will be the third new car I have bought from this dealer in four years.
