Default Letter from LandersMcLartyChysler...

Has anyone gotten the letter from LandersMcLartyChryslerJeepDodgeRam stating that "the demand for quality pre-owned 2006 Chrysler Chrossfires has been overwhelming!"?

(They are also trying to get me to trade in my car for a new 2011 Ram 1500 truck and a $1000 extra savings.)

I wonder if this is related to the recall on the cars, and the "demand for quality pre-owned" cars is their way of dealing with more notices? (Just get the owners to bring their cars in themselves and trade it in for something else, giving more money to the car company.)

Sorry to burst your bubble. But, this is a offer that is used by dealers to get sales up. They find out what / when you bought the car from this dealer or a dealer they are partnered with and send out a letter saying your car is in demand. Give a super offer (not) to buy some NEW car and that is the hook.

Keep your 2006 crossfire and enjoy it. Face it in 15-20 years it might be worth the trade for the new Car.

No bubble bursted - I just want to make sure that they haven't got problems with cars that aren't being told about. I love my little car, and don't want to get something from the auto co in a few months for a recall of any kind and be upset at that point. Thanks.

Recalls Tain't a bad thing. There was a time when "recall" and "cars" were never used in the same sentence.
