I Did It!
Today I did it! I have gone from an Xfire wanabee to an Xfire gonnabe. I ordered my Blaze Red Limited roadster.
I was waiting to see the one the dealer has coming in for another buyer but it was due in today and hasn't left the factory yet. I've seen the roadster, driven the 6 speed coupe and have seen pictures of the red roadster in this forum - so why wait?
The bad news - it probably won't be in until early September.
I'll be continuing to learn about the Xfire on this forum until then.
The sales manager and service manager hadn't seen the roadster in red yet. They were really impressed when I showed them photos I had printed from this forum. I left them for the sales manager to post in his office.

There is one on the show room floor at Huffines. Its a dallas dealership, but they could do a dealer trade. That way you could have it in less than a week. Or just fly up here and get it. Drive it back
I know how you feel leebea. I order my black w/ cedar interior roadster about 6 weeks ago and have been told to expect it in in another week or 2. The wait is killing me :x Hang in there and keep reading on this forum. It will help pass the time until your new toy arrives
azbobk, your Blaze Red roadster is the one that I copied photos of (from the TEST forum) and have shown to everyone. There is a copy posted in the sales manager's office at Foley Chrysler in Quincy, MA. The service manager asked if it was in FL and I said no, AZ. I also have one as the wallpaper on my computer so I can admire it while I'm at the computer. As to top down temperatures, I have had the top down in my Sebring at temps of 100+. I can't put my top up in warm weather either.
Adam, thanks for the heads up on the one in Dallas but I'm going to sit back, enjoy this forum and the anticipation as suggested by Indyxfire. It won't be as bad as it would be if I didn't have my Sebring convertible. The sales manager is going to tell me the VIN as soon as he gets it so I can post the number. He is also going to keep me informed on the status of it. They have a letter code in the computer that tells them just where in the manufacturing/delivery cycle it is.
(For any members who happen to be in this area looking for a reputable Chrysler dealer, I have bought three new Chryslers in four years from Foley Chrysler and they are the finest dealer I have ever dealt with (sales or service), truly deserving the five star designation, and I have been buying cars for over 40 years).

The dealer told me it going to come up as Inferno Red when he put the information in the computer but it came up as Blaze Red. I think they are both pretty much the same color with different names. The Sebring convertible uses Inferno Red as a color. Whatever color they want to call it, I am still excited about it!

Very nice looking car barbie. Right now that is a very unusual color in the roadster. There's not one aero blue roadster listed for any dealer in the metro Boston area. Hope you get much enjoyment from it (which you likely are already). Thanks for sharing the pictures.
