The Search Continues
Drove an '05 Roadster yesterday. Priced at around $12,300, 70K miles, Aero Blue 6M. Price was probably good, car had new run flats, and Chrysler had replaced the top last year free of charge.
Here's the down side. The run flats were GoodYears and were some of the noisiest tires I've ever heard, especially from 20 mph down. No front plate, and plate was cable tied to the front bumper. Needless to say, it had rubbed the paint off in numerous places. Driver's seat heater did not work. Pretty good scrape above left rear wheel well, with paint off and dent, and clearcoat scrape further back. No maintenance records, but the car ran fine, and appeared to be taken care of. Chrome plastic on the interior door handles flaking off like crazy. Headlights were so foggy (inside) they would need to be replaced. I guess that's all the negatives. Owner said he had never done any brake work- -so at 70K miles, I'm sure that will be coming.
The guy was very nice, but he acted like the didn't know the seat heater didn't work. I wasn't buying that since it was his wife's daily driver. Made me wonder if there was anything else he knew but wasn't divulging.
Anyhow, still thinking about this car, but probably not at $12,300. Won't be long tho before convertible weather returns, and prices will probably start to jump in a month or two.

Probably a much better deal here overall. I just noticed this from a forum member.
